“Volunteerism for Development. Designing and Implementing Community Based Projects” Training Manual The “Volunteerism for Development. Designing and Implementing Community Based Projects” Training Manual was published by UNV Albania in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports (MoTCYS) in July 2010. The manual was launched by a presentation of UNV at a Round table organized by MoTCYS on the occasion of the 12 August, International Youth Day (designated by the United Nations in 1999 by the adoption of Resolution 54/120) and launch of the International Youth Year (IYY) August 2010 – August 2011. The manual aims at providing information and tools to volunteers, trainers, community mobilizers, volunteer managers, CBOs, NGOs and state local institutions to successfully promote volunteerism and effectively mobilize young people in community based initiatives at grassroots level.
